Crowborough RFC vs Eastbourne (Friendly)

A combined training and match session at Crowborough Rugby Club. The Crowborough festival had been an early season
venue for the team, with rain and high winds. This visit exposed the boys to near freezing temperatures but thankfully no wind
to drop the temperatures further. A lesson in the benefits of multiple layers and keeping warm between sessions was the order of the
day.
The combined training session in the form of skills drills were well organised and split between Crowborough and Eastbourne coaches.
The last 30 minutes involved two matches between the boys, with Eastbourne being successful in both these matches. The Eastbourne
teamwork and close support was fantastic to see as well as some impressive exhibitions of defence and meaningful tackling.
The Eastbourne ball distribution and linkage all came together well and the boys deserved their victories against a strong and well
coached Crowborough opposition.

The Coaches Golden Ball and post match 'Man of the match awards went to Olli for his relentless running resulting in the only try of the second game.
