Eastbourne vs East Grinstead (Friendly)

Final score: 2 - 2

Training with East Grinstead RFC 13th November

This weekend saw a visit from our local rivals East Grinstead. Last year in the tag tournaments Eastbourne and East Grinstead
had been fairly evenly matched, however this year in the first tournament at Crawley they had beaten us by a narrow margin
to claim the tournament.

So with this in mind the boys were keen to be visited on their home turf to see if they could offer more resistance. It was great to see two
new faces joining in this week with Lewis and Tim showing their skills to their new team mates.

The morning was split into a light training and warm up session followed by a series of round robin matches between four teams.

Overall the experience was enjoyed by the boys playing, the coaches on both sides and the parents. The level and quality of play
between the two clubs was very similar and this gave both sides great experience and that all important match practice.

The boys also all took part in the 2 minutes silence at 11am as this was Remembrance Sunday, see photos attached.
