Heathfield vs Eastbourne (Friendly)

Final score: 0 - 0

The boys travelled a short distance to Heathfield this weekend for a combined training session followed by round robin matches between 4 teams,
Crowborough have around 30 boys in their U9's squad!.

These training sessions focused on 'Finding Space' and Tackling Practice Techniques; with the Eastbourne boys producing some impressive play
during the subsequent matches. It was noticeable how the teams all produced great support play between players, with the recent rucking practice
also showing promising results; linkage from forwards to backs was also much improved and showed in the number of tries scored from the line.

Again some long periods of open supported play showed what the boys are very capable of when they play well as a team.

The morning was a mild and misty autumn day with the sun coming out to warm all those mum's and dad's on the touchline.

No Golden Ball was awarded this week as Gary did not feel he had a good enough overview of the boys due to his training and refereeing roles.
