Festival at Haywards Heath vs Eastbourne (Cup)

A hot hot October day at Haywards Heath lead the team to a challenging start to the tournament losing to Haywards Heath, Pulborough and Heathfield. The ERFC Under 11's showed commitment at the festival and went through to win 1 - 0 against East Grinstead.

ERFC 11's try scorer was Dylan Elliot after a good scrum won by the Eastbourne pack which was swiftly passed out to the backs. A good run along to touch line offered Dyan the try line and the score. Well done to all especially the pack involved in the scrum which started the move.

Man of the Match Joseph Smith for an over all strong performance in tackling, rucking and gaining ground with the ball.

A few points to be worked on in training this week will lead us to greater results at Hastings Festival on the 9th October.
